Hi, I'm Bob Marzewski.

I am the VP of Web Sites for MediaCity, an internet access provider headquartered in Palo Alto, California. This domain is a place for me to do play, do a little self promotion, and maybe even make something of value to others.

In a past life, I spent 15 years as a physics teacher, and feel like I was pretty good at it, because I tried to remember that physics is about physical things, and I tried to show how physics applies to the real world by performing lots of demos. For 10 of my years as a teacher, I ran Mr. Wizard* Shows. I trained groups of my Physics and Chemistry students to do about 20 flashy demos, and then we toured the local elementary schools with the students performing the demos to massive crowds of awestruck youngins'.

With the piles of demos I have collected over the years, my understanding of how little funding there is in our school systems, and my present ability to broadcast content around the world, it is my plan to compile some of those demos in a location that will be available to teachers to use.

*wizzard.com was taken when I filed for this domain, hence wizzard.com. This is strangely appropriate though since, for the first year or so that I did these shows, I thought that's how it was spelled.
