Industry-specific terms and definitionsFor each industry, an Enterprise Model is constructed with complete definitions, attribution and data relationships. The data within the Enterprise Model is representative of a company operating in that industry. The Enterprise Model is graphically presented in a 36"x175" single-page, color plotted diagram supported by an integrated CASE toolset.

Subject Area Models are based upon selected entities from the Enterprise Model, which form the core upon which detailed analysis is performed to expand the scope and level of detail for that Subject Area Model. Subject Area Models are an ideal data platform upon which to develop Decision Support Systems or tactical application models.
The Data Warehouse Model is derived directly from the Enterprise Model incorporating entities, levels of summarization and derived data identified in corresponding Subject Area Models.
This model development strategy supports integration of data across any level of models, propagation of changes between models and ongoing development of models to meet new requirements.
