• Beeperless Remote
  Use your 3-digit remote access number to play, replay and erase messages from most touchtone phones.
• One Touch Controls
  One touch plays messages and automatically resets the tape for the next call. Save, erase, or record a message in one easy step.
• Memo/Conversation Record
  Record important phone conversations or leave memos for yourself or other household members.
• Extension Disconnect
  Answer calls from a touchtone extension phone and stop the answering machine from recording by pressing the "~" button.
• Outgoing Message Bypass
  Frequent callers can press "#" on their touchtone phone to skip your outgoing message and leave their message.
• Flashing Message Counter and Answer On/Off Indicator
  Flashes to indicate the number of messages received. Lights when the 8600 is on and ready to answer calls.
• Ring Select with Tollsaver (2-4-TS)
  When calling in to retrieve messages, TS (Tollsaver) indicates when there are new messages by answering on the second or third ring. If there are no new messages, you can hang up before the fourth ring to avoid unnecessary toll charges.
• Call Screening
  Hear who's calling before answering your phone.
• Power Failure Protection
