Voice Time/Day Stamp
During message playback, a synthesized voice announces
the time and day each message was received.
Multifunctional Digital Display
Displays the message count and confirms the machine
function and status.
Digital Outgoing Message
Record your own outgoing message and change it as often
as you like using advanced digital technology. The digital chip
replaces mechanical components, increasing reliability.
5 Outgoing Message Modes
Two Outgoing Messages (Mode 1 and 2)
Record two outgoing messages (day/night or home/
business) and switch between both. The outgoing messages
can be recorded and changed at the machine or via remote
operation.
Outgoing Message Timer (Mode 3)
Program your machine to play two different outgoing
messages during selected times of the day. For example,
program GREETING #1 to begin at 9:00 am and
GREETING #2 to begin at 6:00 pm.
Confidential Personal Message Mode (Mode 4)
Give callers a dedicated code to access a confidential
message you record only for them. Greeting #1 will play as
the primary outgoing message and Greeting #2 will be
accessed as the confidential personal message.
Distinctive Ring Mode (Mode 5)
If you subscribe to a Distinctive Ring Service from your local
phone company, set the Greeting Select switch to the
"Distinctive" Mode. Your 8800 will automatically answer the
standard ring with Greeting #1 and the distinctive ring with
Greeting #2.
Voice Assisted Operation and Remote Voice Menu
The synthesized voice confirms many functions at the
machine and in remote operation; " l will save messages,"
the remote voice menu lists available options;
"Press 1 to replay messages," and so on.
Remote Operation
Use your programmable 3-digit remote access code to play,
replay, fast forward, rewind, and save messages from most
touchtone phones, including pay phones and car phones.
New Message Playback in Remote
Call
To retrieve your unplayed messages, the 8800 tells you
the total number of messages, the number of new messages,
and then it plays only the new messages. Press "1" to replay
all messages.
Tollsaver with Ring Select (2-4-TS)
When calling in to retrieve messages, the Tollsaver feature
indicates there are new messages by answering on the
second or third ring. If there are no new messages, you can
hang up before the fourth ring to avoid unnecessary toll
charges .
Auto Extension Disconnect
Answer calls from an extension phone and automatically stop
the answering machine from recording.
