Sun is one of our regular clients. We've produced a great number of marketing
pieces for them, which often include difficult hurdles such as tight time
and travel schedules or acquiring high-resolution computer images directly
from Sun workstations using a scan converter. The Making of Silicon Valley A two hour broadcast documentary on the history of Silicon Valley produced by the Santa Clara Valley Historical Association and hosted by Walter Cronkite. This special program includes interviews with dozens of
people central to the formation and growth of the modern communication era,

![]() Glaxo Wellcome In preparation for Glaxo Wellcome's 1997 release of Zyban, a new drug for helping people stop smoking, Avatar has produced a series of videos to explain the mechanisms of tobacco dependence and how Zyban works. Each video is targeted at a different audience (doctors and other medical professionals, or people with no medical training), and includes extensive computer animation and explanations by some of the leading doctors in the field.
![]() ![]() Crystal Dynamics Producers of video games for the Sony PlayStation, Sega Saturn, 3DO, and Nintendo 64 platforms, ![]() ![]() A dream of a production for us! Spend a week in the Cascade Mountains of Washington shooting footage for a scenic vacation lodge--of course, this means sprinting around on mountain trails with a hundred pounds of camera gear for several days. The results were spectacular. ![]() ![]() Documentary and Special Interest Some other important productions include "The Served With Pride," a documentary shot on 16mm film detailing the contributions of Chinese Americans in World War II. Also, a full-length, multi-camera program for the St. Germain Foundation on their passion play on the life of Jesus Christ, shot at their facility near Mount Shasta.
Famous Folk Other famous and important people we've had in front of our cameras include Bill Hewlett and David Packard (co-founders of Hewlett Packard), Senator Diane Feinstein, world-famous dance choreographer Twyla Tharp, Intel founder and Chairman Emeritus Gordon Moore, and Silicon Valley marketing guru Regis McKenna.
