Accessing Network Properties

From the Start Menu - Settings - Control Panel -  Network
    Or
Right Click on the Network Neighbor Icon on the desk top
 

Installing Windows NT Networking

    If Windows NT Networking has not been installed Open Network Properties
        When asked if you want to install Windows NT Networking Select Yes.
            Follow the instruction for a Wired network selecting all the default settings.
                Once complete See Setting for LAN Networking to verify correct settings (reconfigure if necessary)

Installing individual Services and Clients

The Following installations take place in the Network Properties Dialog  (see above)
 
 

To install Simple TCP/IP Services

    From the Services Tab
         Select Add...
             Select Simple TCP/IP Services - OK

To install TCP/IP Protocol

    From the Protocols Tab
         Select Add...
             Select TCP/IP Protocol - OK

To install Remote Access Service

    From the Services Tab
         Select Add...
             Select Remote Access Service - OK
                Configure as prompted

To install LAN Network Adapter

    Please refer to your LAN hardware Installation instructions
    Some hardware may require drivers from the hardware manufacturer

    From Network Properties Adapters Tab
        Select Add...
            Select : Appropriate Adapter - OK
                Follow prompting to configure hardware settings for Adapter
