Answering Machine Features

• Voice Time/Day Stamp.
  During message playback, a synthesized voice announces the time and day each message was received.
• Microcassette Tape
  The 3800 uses a microcassette for the outgoing and incoming messages.
• Ring Select with Tollsaver (2-4-TS)
  When calling in to retrieve messages, TS (Tollsaver) indicates when there are new messages by answering on the second or third ring. If there are no messages, you can hang up before the fourth ring to avoid unnecessary toll charges.
• One Touch Controls
  One touch plays messages and automatically resets the tape for the next call.
• Auto Extension Disconnect
  Answer calls from an extension phone and automatically stop the answering machine from recording.
• Memo Record
  Record memos for yourself or other household members.
• Memos can be retrieved at the machine or in remote operation.
• New Message indicator
  The light flashes quickly when new messages have been recorded. After messages have been played and saved, the light flashes slowly.
• Play/Pause
  Press PLAY to listen to messages. Press again to pause message playback or answer a call.
• Automatic Erase
  If you do not specifically save or erase messages, the 3800 automatically resets to record new messages over the old messages.
• Fast Forward/Rewind
  Fast forward or rewind to find a specific message.
• Remote Turn On
  Activate your 3800 from any telephone. Call the machine and let the phone ring approximately 15 times.
• Remote Operation
  Use your 2-digit remote access number to play, replay and save messages from most touchtone phones.
