Private
With NetBox you can be as anonymous as you wish, giving you the control over your privacy. Your NetBox is the virtual equivalent of a numbered post office box in the real world. Mail sent through your NetBox is virtually untraceble back to your Internet access point. NetBox allow you to choose the names that appear on your electronic messages - both your NetBox account name and the owners name. You can use your real name or a pseudonym to protect your identity.
With this feature you can participate in electronic communications without fear of stalking or harassment at your Internet access address. With NetBox e-mail filtering options, you don't even have to see messages from anyone you don't want to hear from. Privacy controlled by you.

Flexible
Your NetBox is the switching center for your electronic messages. With NetBox, messages to you can be routed to any access point on the Internet or distributed to as many as three locations. You are no longer limited to a single avenue to the net nor will you miss messages at services you don't often check. You can also send mail from any of these locations through NetBox - the address on the receiving end will always say you@NetBox.com.

With NetBox you also have the flexibility to use the tools on our server to manage your mail. You can set your NetBox to hold all messages rather than forwarding them to any address. You can read and respond to the messages held at NetBox in a telnet session - actually logging into your NetBox mail server - and using Pine, an easy but powerful Unix mailing program. You can also use our optional Post Office Protocol (POP3) service to retreive and send messages with POP compatible mailing programs, such as the popular Eudora.

Personal
NetBox is your mail center - a configurable, private home-base for your electronic communications. You determine where your mail goes, what name is on it, how you read it, and, with mail holding options, when you read it. You can even determine who you can receive mail from. NetBox lets you determine how you handle your e-mail and provides you the tools to manage it.

Secure
Your NetBox is an account on a secure, dedicated communications server. All messages and files are kept private and password protected using standard Unix protocols. Access to the server is extremely limited so that the likelihood of outside tampering is kept to a minimum. The system has been configured to provide the best security available so that you can use your NetBox without worrying who else might see your messages.
